Today Matthew was going to the pub for his tea, but not before he had been out with his day service. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and blackcurrant juice for breakfast. Just before 09:00 his transport to his day service turned up and it was Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU.

We got on the bus and the bus set off onto the A5035. We went over the railway line into Trentham before turning at New Inn Lane. We turned into Pacific Drive and we picked up another service user before going back onto New Inn Lane. We returned along A5035 before turning left into Church Toad and forwards onto Blurton Road. We stopped at the BP before carring on to Heron Cross. We turned right to go through the traffic lights and onto Heron Street. After crossing over the railway we turned left onto Christchurch Street before reaching our destination. In the morning Matthew went into the sensory and spent time using a computer. We went to fetch dinner from the chip shop. For dinner he had sausage chips and gravy from the chips shop. After dinner we went to the pub. Today we went to the pub in a Intercity taxi. We set off onto Glebedale Road and we turned left onto City Road. We headed down to the a52 and we turned right towards the railway station. We saw First Potteries 66843 on a #3 to Madeley. We continued along the A52 past the railway station and university and up to Joiners Square. We turned left onto Lichfield Street and we reached our destination. Matthew went to the toilet and had a drink of Coke. Best of the bus sightings included First Potteries 63096 on a #6 to Hanley. Matthew listened to music on the Jukebox and when it was time to leave we were picked up by Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We went down Lichfield Street and onto Victoria Road and went to the top turning sharp right onto City Road. We turned left into Glebedale Road and to our destination. When it was time to home home we climbed aboard Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We set off onto Christchurch Street an right onto Station Bridge Road and Heron Street. In Heron Cross we went straight across onto Blurton Road and over the A50. We carried on into Blurton along Blurton Road and forward onto Church Road. We turned right onto Beaconsfield Road and left on to Finstock Avenue and forward onto the A5035. We went into Trentham and onto New Inn Lane before dropping another client off in Trentham. We returned into Blurton along the A5035 and we arrived home just before 15:00. Matthew had toast and a drink of dandelion & burdock whilst he waited for the time to go out and catch the bus. Today we were traveling up with mums friend, so we got in the car and we traveled onto Beaconsfield Drive and onto Church Road. We picked the friend up on Blurton Road and we came back up to Church Road and right into Beaconsfield. By the time we were ready the next buses was the 17:22. We walked all the way down to the stop on Magdalen Road. As the buses hadn't been viewed we had no idea what was going to be on the service today. When it turned the corner we were surprised to see dud First Potteries Adderley Green allocated Scania 60176 on the #22 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and booked to Harpfield Road before sitting down at the back of the bus. The bus set off onto the A5035 and turned right. We passed First Potteries 65705 on a #22 to Longton. We crossed over the railway line into Trentham and we turned right into New Inn Lane. In Trentham we saw First Potteries 40367. We continued into Hanford and we saw First Potteries 41498 on a #21B to Trentham Gardens. We joined the A34 and we went under the A500 and into Trent Vale. We turned right into Harpfields Road and we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 60176 as it carried on towards Newcastle.

We walked back onto the A34 and we headed to the pub. Just as we got to the pub we saw First Potteries 65001 on a #10 to Stafford.

In the pub, Matthew had a brunch with bread and butter followed by toffee sponge pudding with ice cream. Whilst we ate highlights of the passing buses were Alfa Coaches 75 going South. We also saw ABC Supreme BV51 BNZ for the first time on a Newcastle bound hospital link service. After we had finished eating I came to pick matthew, mum and her friend up. Once in the car we set off down the A34 seeing First Potteries 65039 & 65033 on #10 services, 60202 on a Newcastle bound #22 and 41495 on a Hanley bound #21. We carried on down the A34 which we did down to Trentham, before turning left onto the A5035. At the end of New Inn Lane we saw First Potteries 53405 on a #21B to Trentham Gardens. We carried on into Blurton and we got home just before 19:00. Matthew chilled out on his computer listening to music and looking at bus pictures until bedtime around 00:00... Mark
