Today Matthew was going to Grandma's, but not before he had been to his day service. Matthew got up around 08:00. He got dressed and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Just before 09:00 his transport to his day service turned up and it was Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX.

We got on the bus and we sat down. We set off down to the A5035 were we turned left. We turned left onto Church Road and at the roundabout we turned left onto Blurton Road. We joined the Eastbound A50 and we then turned left onto the A50 link Road and we ran up to City Road. We turned left and we ran to Glebedale Road and turned left and to our destination. In the morning Matthew spent time in the sensory room and on the computer. For dinner Matthew had cheese oatcakes followed by cake. In the afternoon Matthew went for a walk to the shop. We set off onto Christchurch Street and onto Masterson Street. We stopped at the shop on the corner and Matthew had a can of Coke. We walked along Watkin Street and along the back street by the railway line onto Smithpool Road. We went up to the park and and walked through to the childrens playground. Matthew went on the swings and roundabout. We walked back onto Smithpool Road and we walked up Welby Street on Watkin Street. We turned right onto Masterson Street and onto Christchurch Street and to the day centre. When it was time to go home Matthew climbed aboard Shelton Care Group minibus DY08 FFX. We went onto Glebedale Road and right onto City Road and we turned right onto the A50 link road and we joined the Westbound A50. We did the A50 to the Bet365 Stadium and we joined Stanley Matthews Way. We then saw an unidentified Happy Days coach, an unidentified Leons coach and Stanton's of Stoke 3093 RU. We travelled to the other end of Stanley Matthews Way and we turned right onto the A5035. We ran over the railway line into Trentham and we turned right into New Inn Lane. We dropped off another service user and we returned onto the A5035. We ran back over the railway in Blurton and Matthew got home just before 15:00. Matthew had toast and a drink of orangeade whilst he waited for the time to go out and catch the bus. Today we went to catch the 16:26 to Newcastle. We set off on foot to the bus stop all the way onto Magdalen Road. We had seen the turn earlier in the day and it was booked to be dud First Potteries 67603. Whilst we waited we saw First Potteries 67636 on an #22 to Longton.

A few minutes later First Potteries 67603 turned the corner as expected and on time...

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We joined the Westbound A5035 and we saw Free Spirits MK52 PXH emerging from Stanley Matthews Way. We ran over the railway line into Trentham and we turned right into New Inn Lane. We climbed the bill into Hanford and we turned right into Wilson Road. We turned left Church Lane and we ran down the hill and joined the A34 where we saw silver minibus LK55 DYG so South. We crossed under the A500 into Trent Vale and we turned right into Harpfields Road. Going up Harpfields Road we saw First Potteries 67633 on the final #22 turn. We turned into the City General hospital and we saw ABC Supreme NM08 WKT & First Potteries 37159 on a #25 to Hanley. We rejoined the A34 and we travelled North about 1/2 mile. We got up and got off the bus and Matthew took a picture of First Potteries 67603 as it carried on towards Newcastle.

As we walked back towards Grandma's we saw D&G 158 on the 'Nines' service to Clayton. At Grandma's Matthew had a can of Irn Bru and used her computer. We said goodbye to Grandma around 18:15 and we ran along Occupation Street and Victoria Street onto the A52 and into Newcastle. We joined the A53 and we ran out of Newcastle through Basford to Etruria. We crossed over the A500 and we ran past festival Park and up to Cobridge. We left the A53 and we ran up Sandbach Road to Smallthorne Roundabouts. We ran down Ford Green Road and we turned right int Fell Street. We ran down to the bottom of Smallthorne via Coseley Street, Duddell Road and Quinton Walk. We turned right into Chell Heath Road and whilst we waited at the traffic lights we saw First Potteries 32057 on a #98 to Newcastle and 41497 on a #8A to Hanley. We ran up Ford Green Road and we made a loop of the road along Saturn Road, Mars Street and Jupiter Street. After a quick stop we returned onto Ford Green Road and left onto the A5272. We ran through Sneyd Green and birches edge to the edge of Hanley and we joined the Clockwise ring road. In Hanley we saw First Potteries 53041 on a #8 to Endon and First Potteries 53060 on a #5 to Hanley. We left the ring road onto Lichfield Street and we past 'Stokehenge' and onto Victoria Road. We ran up the hill and we stopped at MacDonalds where we picked up Matthew's tea. We continued up Victoria Road and we joined the A50 link road. We went along the A50 to Heron Cross and we turned left onto Blurton Road. We ran up through Blurton ans we turned right onto Church Road. As we turned into Beaconsfield Drive we saw First Potteries 67603 going towards Longton on a #22 service. We got home around 19:30. We then chilled out on the computer and listened to the Stoke match on the radio as Stoke beat Stevenage away by 4 goals to nil. Matthew went to bed around 23:00... Mark
