Today Matthew was going to the pub for his tea, but not before he had been to his day service and residential unti. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had a sausage sandwich and orange juice for breakfast. Just before 09:00 his transport to his day service turned up and it was Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX.

We got on the bus and we set off onto the A5035 and we crossed over the railway line into Trentham. We turned right into New Inn Lane and right again into Pacific Drive. After we picked up another service user we headed back onto New Inn Lane and then onto the A5035. We turned left at Church Road and then we went Forwards onto Blurton Road through Blurton and across the A50. We went through Heron Cross and onto Heron Street. Having crossed the railway line we Turned left onto Christchurch Street and to our destination. In the morning Matthew did some baking. Matthew made pancakes which he made and ate straight away. We then went went to the residential unit. We set off onto Christchurch Street where we saw First Potteries 67151 on a #23 to Hanley. We turned left into Temple Street and we went into the unit. We then walked back to the day centre. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street. For dinner Matthew had McDonald, which was a burger and fries washed down with a cup of Coke. When it was time to go to the pub we went in Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU. We set off onto Glebedale Road and we turned right onto City Road. We turned sharp right onto Victoria Road and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We crossed over the roundabout onto Lichfield Street and we went to the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and then had a glass of Coke. Highlight of the bus sightings included Barratt's N7 BCL and First Potteries 63176 on a #6A to Blythe Bridge. Matthew listened to music on the jukebox with tracks including Billie Piper. When it was time to go back to the day centre Matthew returned on Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU. We set off onto Palmerston Street and we turned right onto the A52. At joiners Square roundabout we turned left on Victoria Road and then right onto Warrington Road. We re-joined the A52 and we ran up towards Stoke station. We followed the A52 along the railway line and then we turned left onto City Road. We ran up the hill and we turned right into Glebedale Road and back to the day centre. After a brief stop Matthew returned home on Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU. We set off onto Glebedale Road and we continued onto Station Bridge Road. We followed the road around onto Heron Street and we went through to Heron Cross. We travelled through Blurton along Blurton Road. We went forwards onto Church Road and at the end we went right onto Beaconsfield Drive. Matthew got home around 15:00... Matthew took another picture of Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU before it returned to the day centre.

Matthew had toast and a glass of Cherryade whilst he waited for the time to go out and catch the bus. Today we went to catch the 16:26 to Newcastle. Matthew had seen the bus earlier in the day and it was First Potteries 67643. We set off on foot to the bus stop all the way onto Magdalen Road. Whilst we waited we saw First Potteries 67637 going towards Longton on the following #22 turn towards Longton. 1626 came and went and the bus didn't turn up... Whilst we waited we saw blue minibus HG15 ECL going into the estate.

After after around 30 minutes waiting it seemed obvious we would be on the following service, which should be First Potteries 67637. Matthew sat down whilst we waited and we saw First Potteries 67639 on another #22 towards Longton.

A few minutes later after waiting for close to 45 minutes a bus finally appeared. It was First Potteries 67637.

We got on the bus and we booked to Harpfield Road before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto the A5035 and we ran over the railway line into Trentham where we saw Free Sprits minibus MK52 PXH parked up in it's usual overnight spot. We turned right into New Inn Lane and we saw First Potteries 67159 coming out of Pacific Drive. We continued up New Inn Lane and we ran into Hanford where we saw First First Potteries 41521 on a #21A to Trentham Gardens. We turned right into Wilson Road and we ran down Church Lane and we joined the A34. After running under the A500 into Trent Vale. We then saw First Potteries 42553 on a #21 to the Trentham Hotel as well as First Potteries 63176 on the final #22 turn. This means that our bus probably broke down at some point and was replaced at Newcastle on the 1659 Newcastle to Longton. We turned right onto Harpfields Road where we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another First Potteries 67637 before it carried on towards Newcastle.

We walked back to the A34 and we saw First Potteries 65033 on a #101 to Stafford.

We also saw ABC Supreme KX13 DZL aswe headed to the pub. Unsurprisingly mum was already waiting at the pub for us, so we went straight inside. Matthew had a brunch with oatcakes followed by toffee sponge pudding with ice cream. Whilst we ate highlights of the passing buses included ABC Supreme DU60 XTB, E-zec patient Transport SF16 EUZ going South as well as First Potteries 53207 on the late extra #22 turn to Longton. When it was time to go we got in the car to go pick up uncle Dave. We ran down the A34 and we got onto the Northbound A500. At Sideway we went East on the A50. We came off the A50 at Heron Cross and then we then dropped down into Fenton to pick up uncle Dave. We then headed back up to Heron Cross and we crossed the A50 and into Blurton. We ran along Blurton Road and we turned right onto Church Road. We turned right into Beaconsfield Drive. We got home around 18:30. Matthew chilled out on his computer and we sorted a few things out. We then chilled out on the sofa until bedtime around 00:00... Mark
