Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going to Grandma'a house, Blurton and to the pub later. The #23A was still being diverted due to Grove Road being closed at Heron Cross. Matthew got up and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Matthew chilled out in his room whilst waiting to go to the day centre. We saw First Potteries 67642 on a #11 to Newcastle. When it was time to go out we set off on foot onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street. Near to the day centre we saw Z Carz LV59 DZC.

We carried on to the day centre. In the morning Matthew set off on foot to the bus stop to catch a bus to Meir Park. We set off onto Glebedale Road and we crossed over city Road and onto Fountain Street. We followed the road around onto William Street and we turned right onto Manor Street. We turned left onto Victoria Road and we walked down the road to the bus stop near to Subway. We waited at the bus stop for a short while for the next bus to Blythe Bridge. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 65041. We got on the bus and we booked to Meir Park and sat down. The bus set off up Victoria Road. We continued onto City Road and forwards onto King street we saw First Potteries 67642 on a #11 to Newcastle. We ran through Foley and under the railway line into Longton town centre. The bus stopped on Market Street and then we continued onto Uttoxeter Road. We ran through Normacot and then we joined the A50. We ran fast up to Meir and then we came off the A50 onto Broadway. At the roundabout we turned right onto the A520 and we headed up the hill to Rough Close and we turned left onto Grindley Lane. We turned left onto Whitestone Road and then left onto Lysander Road. We ran around the Meir Park estate and over the roundabout to Tesco where we got up and got off the bus. Matthew went to Tesco to do some shopping. Matthew brought a can of Coke. We then went out and across the road to catch a bus back to Fenton. A few minutes later a bus appeared and it was First Potteries 63175. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off up Lysander Road and around the estate. After nearly completng the loop we turned right onto Whitestone Road. We turned right onto Grindley Lane and we ran up the hill to Rough Close. At the roundabout we turned right onto the A520 and we ran down the hill to Meir. At the roundabout we turned left onto the A50. We ran fast down to Normacot and we came off the A50 onto Uttoxeter Road. We came into Longton and we went around the one-way system. We turned left onto Commerce Street and then we turned right onto The Strand. After a brief stop in Longton we continued down to the railway bridge and then we ran forwards onto King Street. We ran through Foley to Fenton and we ran forwards onto City Road. We turned right onto Victoria Road and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked onto City Road and left onto Glebedale Road and back to the day centre were we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX.

We continued to Christchurch Street and we saw Stanton's of Stoke EGZ 2534 on the Grove Road shuttle service. We Walked down Masterson Street and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. After picking some chips up from the chip shop we walked back up Temple Street onto Christchurch Street and back to the day centre. For dinner Matthew had Sausage Chips and gravy followed by cake and custard. In the afternoon Matthew walked to the pub. We set off onto Albert Square and onto Gimson Street, We turned left onto Christchurch Street and into the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and then had a glass of Coke. When it was time to go Matthew set off on foot back to the day centre. We walked along Christchurch Street and back to the day centre. We then returned to the residential unit. We set off onto Christchurch Street and we turned left onto Temple Street. Matthew went upstairs to find I was already waiting for him. Out of the window we saw Afford Rent-a-car MK67 UER. We got Matthew's things ready to go to Blurton for the weekend. Once we were ready we went downstairs to go back to Blurton. We set off onto Christchurch Street and right onto Station Bridge Road. We continued onto Heron Street and through the traffic lights onto Blurton Road. We ran through Blurton along Blurton Road and we turned right onto Church Road. We turned right onto Beaconsfield Drive and we saw Stanton's of Stoke KS05 BUS outside the OSSMA. We got back to the house around 15:00. When we got home Matthew had toast and a drink of orange Fanta. Today we were catching the 15:56 to Newcastle as we were going to the pub via Grandma's House. We set off around 15:45 on foot to the bus stop all the way onto Magdalen Road and we saw E-zec patient transport YJ16 GEU heading into Blurton.

The bus was a few minutes late tonight, and whilst we waited we saw a few other buses. Firstly we saw blue minibus HG15 ECL going towards the A5035.

A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 67636 on a #22 to Longton.

We also saw OSSMA minibus HX11 EOL going towards Trentham.

Around 10 minutes later the bus to Newcastle appeared. It was First Potteries 67632 on a #22 to Newcastle sporting a poppy on the front.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle and as we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto the A5035 and ran over the railway line into Trentham and we saw an unidentified North East Irizar coach parked up by the trentham Hotel. We turned right into New Inn Lane and we passed First Potteries 67155 on a #21A. We entered Hanford and we turned right into Wilson Road. We turned left into Church Lane and we saw Hanford Manor SV09 ZYH & white minibus BU07 KGV. We joined the A34 and we saw Paul's of Stoke P302 VWR and St Aidan's Catholic Academy BU54 MWX in a garage. As we headed into Trent Vale and we turned right into Harpfields Road where we passed Free Spirits YX56 DJD heading towards Trentham and First Potteries 67604 on the final #22 to Longton. We turned left into the hospital and we saw ABC Supreme minibus KX08 UXE. We turned right onto the A34 and a couple of stops down the road we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 67632 as it carried on towards Newcastle bus station.

We walked towards the crossing and we saw First Potteries 37146 on a #25 to Hanley. We crossed over the A34 and we continued up the hill to Grandma's house. At Grandma's Matthew had a can of Irn Bru and used her computer. We said goodbye to Grandma around 17:40. We set off onto Victoria Street and we saw white minibus YK08 PVA. We turned left onto the A34. We ran down into Trent Vale. We stopped at the pub and we went inside. Matthew had a brunch with oatcakes followed by toffee sponge pudding with custard. Whilst we ate highlights of the passing buses included ABC Supreme HM16 XPS going Southwards & First Potteries 37156 on a #22 to Longton and First Potteries 37157 on a #101 to Stafford. When it was time to go we got in the car to go pick up uncle Dave. We ran down the A34 and we joined the Northbound A500. We came off the A500 and Stoke and we returned South down the A500 and into Fenton to pick uncle Dave up. Once we had picked him up we returned down onto the Northbound A500. We turned right on the Southbound A500 and at Sideway We went Eastwards along the A50. We came off the A50 by the BET365 Stadium and we ran Southwards down Stanley Matthews Way. We turned left onto the A5035 and we got home around 19:00. Matthew chilled out on his computer and we composed a few e-mails and sorted a few things out. We then chilled out on the sofa doing e-mails and writing the until bedtime around 01:00... Mark
